SYMBIOTECH – Advancing Industrial Symbiosis Skills through Digital and Technological Education
The SYMBIOTECH project, funded under the Erasmus+ programme, aims to enhance education and training in industrial symbiosis by integrating digital and technological competences into learning pathways. The project addresses the growing demand for professionals قادر of supporting the transition towards circular and resource-efficient industrial systems through the use of advanced tools and methodologies.
SYMBIOTECH brings together higher education institutions, vocational training providers, and industry partners to co-develop innovative curricula, digital learning environments, and practice-oriented training modules. The project focuses on combining industrial symbiosis principles with emerging technologies such as data analysis, digital platforms, and smart resource management systems.
Through pilot courses, e-learning solutions, and collaborative activities, SYMBIOTECH promotes interdisciplinary skills development and strengthens the link between education and industry needs. The project contributes to building a digitally skilled workforce capable of driving innovation and sustainability in industrial ecosystems, supporting Europe’s transition towards a circular and low-carbon economy.
